Microsoft has expanded its AI Pinnacle Program in Singapore with public and private sector collaborations for AI adoption at scale in Singapore.
By partnering with key stakeholders from both sectors, Microsoft aims to create a robust ecosystem that supports the integration of AI solutions into various industries. The approach is designed to accelerate the development and deployment of AI technologies, ensuring that they are accessible and beneficial to a wide range of enterprises.
Microsoft has established collaborations with CapitaLand, ofi (Olam Food Ingredients), SATS, Singtel, and SJ Group to co-innovate to scale the benefits of AI through developing sector-specific AI solutions and competencies as pioneers in their fields.
It has also signed a a memorandum of understanding with the A*Star Institute for Infocomm Research to develop the Multimodal Empathetic Reasoning and Learning in One Network (MERaLiON) AI model. This project will utilise Microsoft Azure and aims to integrate MERaLiON into Microsoft’s 365 productivity suite and Copilot. By making MERaLiON accessible, enterprises will be able to leverage AI assistants that are tailored to local contexts and languages, thereby enhancing workflow efficiency.
“To keep up the AI momentum we’ll need to deepen our local AI talent pool, so we’re thrilled to extend skilling initiatives including our Code; Without Barriers program supporting women in tech. Together with Singapore’s public and private sector, we’re equipping individuals and organisations to thrive in the AI economy,” said Lee Hui Li, Managing Director of Microsoft Singapore.
The AI Pinnacle Program is part of Microsoft’s strategy to empower businesses and governments with the tools and expertise needed to harness the full potential of AI. Through this program, Microsoft provides tailored support, including training, resources, and technical assistance, to help enterprises navigate the complexities of AI adoption and maximise its benefits.
