NVIDIA to build Constellation in Taipei

By Edward Lim

At his opening keynote at Computex, NVIDIA Founder and CEO Jensen Huang kept till the end the most awaited news — the location of a new office building in Taiwan.

Dubbed NVIDIA Constellation, the new facility will be built in Beitou, Shilin in Taipei.

NVIDIA Constellation highlights the importance of Taiwan to the company and NVIDIA’s deepening commitment to Taiwan.

With NVIDIA’s engineering presence in Taiwan growing rapidly, Huang revealed that the company has outgrown its current office space.

“We are growing beyond the limits of our current office. And so I’m going to build them a brand new NVIDIA Taiwan office. We’re going to build as soon as we can,” he declared to enthusiastic applause from the 4,000-strong audience at Taipei Music Center.

Huang acknowledged the support from mayors and city officials across Taiwan, joking about the high cost of prime real estate but underscoring the strategic value of the site.

“All of the mayors and all the different cities have been very kind to us, and awesome. I think we got some nice deals… prime real estate is prime real estate,” he said.

Celebrating Taiwan’s Ecosystem

Throughout his keynote address, the NVIDIA chief paid a heartfelt tribute to the Taiwanese ecosystem that has fuelled NVIDIA’s growth through the years.

He credited the “once in a lifetime opportunity” ahead to the enduring partnerships and engineering excellence found in Taiwan.

“I want to thank all of you for your partnership over the years. We are at a once in a lifetime opportunity. It is not an understatement to say that the opportunity ahead of us is extraordinary,” he said.

He emphasised that, together with Taiwan’s world-class talent and partners, NVIDIA is not just advancing technology but creating a whole new industry.

The new era will see the rise of AI factories, intelligent agents for enterprises and robotics, all powered by a unified architecture and a thriving ecosystem built in collaboration with Taiwanese innovators.
