Dell Technologies has unveiled a suite of software-driven, disaggregated infrastructure solutions designed to meet the evolving demands of modern IT environments.
Revealed at Dell Technologies World 2025 in Las Vegas, the new offerings aim to transform how enterprises manage, secure and scale both traditional and AI-powered workloads across on-premises, cloud, and edge deployments.
The shift towards disaggregated infrastructure — where compute, storage and networking resources are pooled and managed independently — addresses the growing complexity and dynamism of enterprise IT.
Dell’s approach leverages advanced software automation, robust cyber resilience and deep partner integrations to simplify operations and future-proof data centres for the AI era.
One of the new solutions is the new generation of Dell PowerProtect Data Domain All-Flash appliances, which deliver up to four times faster data restores and twice the replication performance of previous models, all while occupying 40 percent less rack space and reducing power consumption by up to 80 percent compared to traditional HDD systems. These enhancements bolster cyber resiliency, a critical concern as ransomware and data breaches continue to rise.
Dell’s PowerScale software has also been upgraded, introducing enhanced object storage support and a comprehensive cybersecurity suite. This enables enterprises to protect, access, and recover critical data more efficiently, with features such as cloud bursting to Amazon EC2 and cost-effective backup options to Dell ObjectScale, Amazon S3 or Wasabi.
Automation is at the heart of Dell’s new private cloud and edge solutions. Its software-driven advancements streamline the deployment and management of infrastructure, reducing manual intervention and enabling IT teams to respond rapidly to shifting business needs.
The announcement builds on Dell’s broader strategy to position itself as a full-stack solutions provider for the AI-driven future. At the conference, Dell’s partnerships with industry leaders such as NVIDIA are delivering advanced AI factories and infrastructure that drive significant productivity gains, with some customers reporting efficiency improvements of up to 40 percent.
“At Dell Technologies, we’re defining the future architecture of the intelligent enterprise. Our disaggregated infrastructure approach helps customers build secure, efficient modern data centres that turn data into intelligence and complexity into clarity,” said Arthur Lewis, President of Infrastructure Solutions Group at Dell Technologies.
