ResetData launches sovereign AI supercomputer for Australia

ResetData has announced a public sovereign AI supercomputer built for home-grown AI innovation and infrastructure.

Located in Melbourne, the AI-F1 supercomputer uses NVIDIA H200 GPUs to deliver AI, machine learning and large language model capabilities to local businesses and government agencies. It reportedly doubles the AI-specific computational power of previous Australian supercomputers such as Gadi and Setonix.

Built by a team of more than 350, the facility uses liquid immersion cooling to reduce emissions by up to 45 percent and slash operational costs by up to 40 percent while using zero wastewater.

ResetData’s new platform is designed to put powerful AI tools into the hands of local enterprises, research institutions and government bodies to address previous gaps in onshore AI access and data sovereignty concerns.

The launch aims to enable Australian organisations to develop and deploy AI-driven solutions faster and more securely, with clients including universities and AI developers such as Soulbotix and CallD.

“Today marks Australia’s arrival as a true AI powerhouse. As a proudly Australian-owned company, we’re not just launching a supercomputer – we’re launching Australia’s AI future. Our AI-F1 factory puts cutting-edge AI capabilities directly into the hands of government and businesses, ensuring they can compete globally while keeping their data protected and onshore,” said Bass Salah (top left with Joint CEO Marcel Zalloua), Joint CEO of ResetData.
