Abu Dhabi reveals world’s first AI public servant

Abu Dhabi has introduced the world’s first AI-powered public servant in the AutoGov function within the TAMM super app.

Revealed at Gitex Global 2025, AutoGov can handle a number of routine public services — from licence renewals to healthcare appointments. All these transactions are managed autonomously and securely, freeing residents from administrative burdens and giving them back precious time.

It sets a new standard not just for the Middle East, but globally, in a demonstration of how anticipatory, AI-driven government can enhance the lives of millions.

For the Gulf region, which has invested heavily in digital transformation, this moves the bar beyond digitalisation to intelligent automation and personalisation of service delivery.

Globally, AutoGov positions Abu Dhabi at the forefront of next-generation smart governance. By integrating 1,100 plus services from more than 90 public and private partners, TAMM’s new AI capabilities show how governments can now serve as proactive, human-centered partners in citizens’ lives rather than mere providers of transactional services.

Seamless experience, effortless service

The latest TAMM update delivers a seamless, inclusive digital experience. Innovations such as AI Vision, Smart Guide and real-time translators make government accessible and error-free, while hologram pods promise real-time, personal support in Arabic and English.

The Spaces feature, which focuses on family, mobility and health, organise services around real-life milestones rather than bureaucratic silos, while TAMM by You invites the public to co-design future services.

“The launch of TAMM AutoGov is truly transformative, redefining what government means in people’s lives. It’s a partner that is intelligent, human-centred, and present at the moments that matter most,” said His Excellency Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, Chairman of the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi (DGE).
