Over 4,000 expected at TechInnovation 2025

TechInnovation 2025, organised by IPI Singapore, kicked off yesterday (Occtober 29) and is expected to attract more than 4,000 attendees from over 40 countries until October 31 at Sands Expo Convention Centre.

Now in its 13th year, the event showcases more than 100 cutting-edge technology offerings — spanning AI, HealthTech, sustainability, circular food innovation, and advanced manufacturing — while reinforcing Singapore’s role as Southeast Asia’s innovation gateway.

This year’s theme, Discover, Connect, Collaborate, underscores the event’s mission to fuel enterprise growth by connecting technology seekers and providers across Asia.

Guest-of-honour Alvin Tan highlighted TechInnovation’s impact in shaping business transformation and technology adoption, having hosted more than 30,000 participants and presented 3,000 plus technologies since its inception.

“Innovation is not just about having an idea or ideation. It’s about testing. It’s about impact. It’s about scaling ideas into solutions that create world real world benefits for our people and our businesses,” said Tan who is Singapore’s Minister of State for Trade and Industry, and Minister of State for National Development.

TechInnovation enables SMEs to explore opportunities, build partnerships and bring innovations to market with meaningful impact.

International partnerships took centre stage, with IPI Singapore signing two key MOUs: a renewed partnership with Panasonic R&D Centre Singapore and a new agreement with South Korea’s KILSA Global to support global tech transfer and collaboration.

The event also sees a strong showing from returning exhibitors and first-time start-ups, including the Embassy of Finland, HKSTP, Kansai Startup Academia Coalition, Hanyang University ERICA, Co-Efficient Alpha, and ACTXA.
