Tencent Cloud announces new partnerships ahead of SFF

At Tencent Cloud Day Singapore 2025, held a day before the Singapore Fintech Festival, Tencent announced new partnerships and showcased its advanced AI Agent technology.

The event, themed AI-Powered Global Opportunities, brought together industry leaders, partners and clients to discuss how AI-driven technologies are transforming industries and unlocking sustainable growth opportunities across Asia Pacific.

“Innovation doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens when partners, regulators, industry leaders, and talent come together to build and experiment,” said Brent Irvin (top), General Counsel and Head of Global Corporate Affairs at Tencent.

Tencent Cloud is partnering with RYDE to enhance cross-border ride-booking and travel experiences via Weixin Mini Programs for Chinese tourists to book and pay for rides seamlessly while in Singapore.

Another collaboration with Care involves improving secure and seamless teleconsultation through Tencent Real-Time Communications.

It is also working with Digital China Singapore to facilitate Southeast Asian enterprises’ expansion into China.

“Collaboration is at the heart of innovation. By working closely with enterprises and industry leaders, we’re helping to build an ecosystem of trust — one where AI and cloud technology uplift people, communities, and businesses across Singapore and the region,” said Kenneth Siow, Regional Director of Southeast Asia and General Manager for Singapore and Malaysia at Tencent Cloud International.

AI agent platform

During the event, Tencent Cloud also introduced its AI Agent Development Platform (ADP) that enables businesses to develop autonomous, intelligent multi-agent frameworks for diverse applications — including customer service, marketing, and inventory management.

Xiaohui Yuan, Director of Innovation Research at Tencent Research Institute, noted the technology’s transition from experimental to practical deployment, enhancing operational efficiency and customer engagement.
