The Asia Tech Alliance (ATA) is a new industry body dedicated to amplifying the voice of Asia-Pacific’s (APAC) technology sector. It will also champion regional innovation, values and transformative potential.
Founded with the support of 12 leading global technology companies — including Amazon, Booking.com, Google, and Line — the association represents a watershed moment for APAC’s digital economy, establishing a formal platform where the region’s technology sector can collectively influence policy directions and co-create solutions that reflect the unique needs and aspirations of more than billion people.
ATA unifies APAC’s tech industry voice for coordinated policy influence amid rising regulation on AI, data protection and digital markets. Its mission is to advance the region’s technology sector goals, serving as a trusted platform for governments, industry, and communities to co-create innovative and people-centric solutions that unlock new opportunities and address challenges of rapid technological change.
“The Alliance was born from a shared belief that the most effective solutions are co-created. Bringing these 12 global innovators collectively to the table to work with regional policymakers is just the start, and a testament to ensuring that technology is harnessed responsibly, and shaped by people-centric values in the region,” said Lih Shiun Goh (top), Managing Director of ATA.
