Subzero Engineering has opened a new manufacturing and research and development facility in Ho Chi Minh City to support the fast-growing Asia-Pacific data centre market and strengthen its global supply chain.
The Vietnam site will serve as a global centre of excellence by bringing together manufacturing, design, and R&D capabilities to produce Subzero’s hot and cold aisle containment, modular enclosures, aisle frames, and airflow management solutions.
R&D activities will focus on accelerating innovation for AI-ready and high-density computing environments to improve energy efficiency and sustainability.
More than 50 highly skilled technical roles spanning engineering, software development, research, and advanced factory operations will be created.
Subzero is also exploring partnerships with local universities and technical institutes to build a long-term talent pipeline through internships and training programmes.
Located in a high-performance industrial complex, the new facility has been designed with large-scale solar generation, energy-efficient systems and sustainable building practices to minimise its environmental footprint.
“Vietnam offers a unique combination of talent, resilience and strategic location that enables us to meet APAC’s growing demand for cutting-edge digital infrastructure,” said Midge Pan, General Manager of APAC at Subzero Engineering.
