Busways opens ultra-fast charging hub in Senoko

Busways has unveiled the B’EV Terminal Charging Hub at 27 Senoko Way, Singapore’s first ultra-fast charging facility in the north.

Purpose-built to serve passenger, commercial and heavy-duty electric vehicles, the 24/7 facility features 12 ultra-fast charging guns delivering up to 480kW, capable of supporting as many as 600 vehicles daily.

The hub integrates solar and wind power reinforced by a battery energy storage system and centrally managed through an intelligent energy management system that optimises load distribution and minimises grid reliance.

“When I started Busways nearly two decades ago, it was with a passion for engineering and a belief that infrastructure must evolve to meet tomorrow’s challenges. The B’EV Terminal Charging Hub embodies that evolution — combining renewable energy, advanced systems and high-power charging to shape a cleaner, more connected future for Singapore and beyond,” said Sunny Chong, Founder and Chairman of Busways.

The hub aligns with the Singapore Green Plan 2030 and Budget 2025’s push for electric heavy vehicle adoption and a comprehensive fast-charging network.

Guest-of-honour Ng Shi Xuan, Adviser to Sembawang GRC GROs (Naval Base), commended the initiative as “a tangible step forward” in expanding Singapore’s EV charging ecosystem, especially for logistics and commercial fleet operators.

Developed in collaboration with partners including Schneider Electric, PlugIt, StarCharge Energy, and Tai Sin Electric, the facility exemplifies cross-industry cooperation in building scalable, sustainable infrastructure.

Busways plans to replicate and scale such high-performance charging solutions across Singapore to enable the electrification of commercial and industrial fleets as the nation accelerates toward a low-emission future.
