Fastly has named veteran technology leader Rachel Ler as Area Vice President of Asia, overseeing the company’s business across Asean, Greater China and South Korea.
In this role, Ler will accelerate growth, strengthen customer and partner relationships, and advance Fastly’s expansion strategy across some of its most dynamic markets.
Ler brings more than two decades of enterprise technology and regional leadership experience, having held senior positions at Commvault and Versa Networks.
Her career spans a proven record of scaling go-to-market strategies, nurturing partner ecosystems, and delivering consistent growth for global technology organisations.
“Having Rachel onboard – with her extensive experience and deep understanding of customers across these markets – reinforces Fastly’s commitment to deliver the Fastly experience even closer to our customers. Market localisation and regional proximity are critical pillars of our APJ expansion strategy,” said Nicola Gerber, Vice President of Asia Pacific and Japan at Fastly.
“What excites me most about joining Fastly is its authenticity and passion for building a faster, safer, and more engaging internet. Across Asean, Greater China, and South Korea, digital expectations are rising fast, and customers need a partner who shares their drive for meaningful and secure online experiences,” said Ler.
