Evernote rolls out v11 with AI-powered features

Evernote has begun releasing version 11 which introduces three AI-powered features to enhance note-taking, organisation and productivity for users worldwide.

Developed under Bending Spoons’ ownership since 2024, this first major update in five years follows more than 250 prior improvements in speed, sync and reliability with more AI integration.

AI Assistant, powered by OpenAI, offers a chat interface for summarising notes, surfacing insights, and web searches directly within the app.

Semantic Search enables natural language queries to find relevant notes without exact keywords, while AI Meeting Notes transcribes, summarises multi-speaker meetings and extracts action items across desktop, web and mobile.

The release includes refined note editing, capture tools, navigation, and a refreshed brand identity with a modern logo. Users can enable or disable AI features, with AI Assistant initially on desktop and web.
