Sony Electronics has unveiled the LinkBuds Clip open-ear earbuds that enables seamless awareness of surroundings without blocking the ear canal.
While traditional in-ear buds insert pressurefully and isolate sound, the new product features a unique C-shaped clip that rests comfortably outside the ear for natural airflow and less fatigue for all-day wear.
Its design provides superior stability across ear shapes, with optional fitting cushions for secure fit during runs or workouts, setting it apart from hooking styles such as Shokz OpenFit or ring drivers in prior Sony LinkBuds models.
Three tap-activated modes — Standard for detailed music, Voice Boost for noisy spots, and Sound Leakage Reduction for quiet spaces — enhance versatility beyond typical open-ear options.
Drawing from Sony’s flagship tech, the buds deliver expansive sound via DSEE upscaling, 360 Reality Audio, and a 10-band EQ app, paired with AI noise reduction for clear calls using bone conduction sensors.
LinkBuds Clip offers IPX4 water resistance against sweat and rain, multipoint connection for seamless device switching, and customisable settings via the Sony Sound Connect app.
Battery lasts up to 37 hours total, with just three minutes of fast charging for an hour of use.
At S$299, the LinkBuds Clip will be available in black, green, lavender, and greige in Singapore from February 2026. From now to March 31, 2026, get it for S$269 and receive a free hedgehog plushie (worth S$29.90) upon successful product warranty registration and while stocks last.
