Alibaba unveils Wukong AI‑native agentic platform

Alibaba Group has launched the Wukong AI‑native enterprise platform that brings advanced agentic automation directly into business operations.

Built as a multi‑agent orchestration layer, the platform is capable of operating local computers, browsers, cloud systems and enterprise apps. It can autonomously manage tasks such as editing documents, updating spreadsheets, completing approval forms, transcribing meetings, and conducting deep research.

Wukong’s debut follows Alibaba’s internal restructuring under the Alibaba Token Hub (ATH) Business Group. Currently in invitation‑only beta, it is available as both a standalone desktop app and as an embedded agent inside the latest version of DingTalk, Alibaba’s enterprise collaboration platform with more than 20 million corporate users.

Support for Slack, Microsoft Teams and WeChat is planned, extending Wukong’s reach across mobile and desktop environments.

Security is positioned as a core pillar of the platform. Wukong includes identity authentication, access controls and dedicated enterprise sandboxes, features for environments where data protection and compliance are non‑negotiable.

Alibaba plans to integrate its broader ecosystem, including Taobao, Tmall, 1688, Alipay and Alibaba Cloud, into Wukong as modular agent skills. This will allow enterprises to automate workflows spanning e‑commerce operations, supplier management, payments, and cloud infrastructure.
