South Korea’s cybersecurity firm MonitorApp is showcasing its latest innovations at Secon and eGisec 2026, Korea’s largest integrated security exhibition.
Founded in 2005 and listed on the Korean Stock Exchange, the Layer 7 OSI-based application security specialist offers solutions such as URL filtering, web application firewalls, and content disarm and reconstruction (CDR). Its portfolio spans hardware, software and cloud services, positioning it against global competitors including Akamai, AWS, Cloudflare, and F5.
MonitorApp differentiates itself by integrating endpoint security alongside network protection, a strategy that sets it apart from rivals focused solely on network defenses.

The company’s flagship solutions include AISVA, a next-generation web application firewall that shields servers from application-layer attacks; AISWG, a secure web gateway that filters URLs and ensures safe internet access; AICDR, a content disarm and reconstruction tool that removes hidden threats from files; and AIONCLOUD, a cloud-based platform offering web application firewall, secure web gateway and DDoS protection. All of these are powered by the company’s AILabs threat intelligence platform, which leverages AI and machine learning for real-time detection and predictive analytics.
“All of our solutions are backed by AI and machine learning through our threat intelligence platform,” said Noreen Joyce Guerra, Global Sales and Business Development Manager of MonitorApp.
With R&D and security operations centres based in Korea, it collaborates with 27 global partners across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Its Southeast Asia presence is growing, with government agencies in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand among its key clients. MonitorApp noted that demand for advanced cybersecurity solutions in the region is rising sharply.
