Akamai Technologies has appointed Sean Li as Senior Vice President and Regional Sales Managing Director of Asia Pacific and Japan.
In his new role, Li is tasked with driving Akamai’s expansion in the region by enhancing customer ties, improving execution and aiding firms in deploying cloud, security and AI solutions.
With more than a decade of experience in Akamai, he most recently headed operations as Vice President and Managing Director of Greater China.

teams, and aligning innovation with customer needs positions him well to further strengthen Akamai’s presence across the region,” said Paul Joseph, Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Services at Akamai.
“In this region, success depends on distributing intelligence closer to users, decisions, data, and Akamai is well positioned to address that,” said Li, who succeeds Parimal Pandya, who transitions to lead global sales strategy for the company’s expanding cloud business.
