The second edition of Gitex AI Asia got off to a roaring start on April 9. Queues snaked around the registration counters at the opening.
Held at Marina Bay Sands, it has attracted participants from more than 110 countries, 550 plus enterprises and startups, 175 speakers, and investors managing over US$350 billion in assets.
This year’s event is centred around three big themes: deploying AI at scale, hardening cybersecurity and expanding the data centre and network infrastructure needed to support both.
On the show floor, exhibitors including H3C, iFlytek, Forescout, and Datalec Precision Installations highlighted everything from full-stack digital infrastructure and AI glasses to cyber visibility tools and AI-ready data centre builds.
The conference also underscored the policy backdrop, with speakers pointing to Asean’s push for harmonised digital rules, rising cyber threats and the strategic importance of 6G, trust and cross-border digital growth.
