Just a week after Vietnam’s VinAI announced that it was using the new NVIDIA DGX A100 for natural language processing research, Thailand’s Chulalongkorn University is now turning to the same system to power its Thailand 4.0 innovations.
Natural language processing (NLP) requires loads of computing power so research lab VinAI has turned to the new NVIDIA DGX A100 system — making it the first in Vietnam and one of the first in Southeast Asia to deploy the newly-launched GPU-accelerated data centre in a box.
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang delivered a belated keynote address for GPU Technology Conference (GTC) 2020 yesterday (May 14). The delay was due to the COVID-19 pandemic which caused the event, which was to be held in March, to go digital.
