Lenovo join hands with SMF to upskill workforce with AI training

Lenovo Singapore is partnering with Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) to offer training programmes tailored for employees in the manufacturing and retail sectors.

By introducing a suite of smart manufacturing and retail solutions, Lenovo aims to boost productivity, improve customer experiences, and optimise operations for businesses of all sizes.

Participants will gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI-powered tools, including advanced systems such as automated storage and retrieval system and supply chain intelligence for manufacturing, as well as dynamic pricing and electronic shelf labels for retail. These solutions are designed to future-proof operations by reducing manual labour and errors while enhancing agility in a rapidly evolving marketplace.

The initiative extends beyond just training programmes as Lenovo has also introduced a new range of AI-powered laptops, including the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 and ThinkPad P14s Gen 5.

With AI integrated in their processors, these devices offer seamless collaboration, content creation and data analysis capabilities, significantly improving response times and enhancing productivity across various fields such as architecture, data science, and design.

“By equipping local enterprises and their teams with the necessary tools and skills, we are helping them to become more competitive, sustainable and future-ready,” said Nigel Lee (top), Country General Manager of Lenovo Singapore.
