Averis improves operational agility and client satisfaction with SAP solutions

Global business services provider Averis has chosen SAP to enhance its operational capabilities and client services.

Headquartered in Malaysia with offices across Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas, Averis serves more than 300 clients worldwide in various industries, focusing on commodities such as palm oil, pulp and paper, and renewable energy.

After 15 years of using an on-premise SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, Averis sought to modernise its IT infrastructure to support global expansion.

It required a solution that would allow for enhanced capacity planning, simplified system upgrades and more efficient cost management while retaining control over sensitive customer data.

The migration to cloud infrastructure has yielded significant results for Averis, including an 8.5 percent increase in client satisfaction due to faster turnaround times and more personalised service delivery and an 11.5 percent reduction in total cost of ownership (TCO) by shifting to a pure OPEX model. It also benefitted from improved scalability and stability of the IT environment, and a foundation for future innovations in artificial intelligence (AI) and sustainability services.
