Dragos and Singapore’s DIS link up on global cybersecurity

Dragos and Singapore’s Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to develop advanced cybersecurity capabilities, foster collaboration on strategic planning and training, and facilitate information sharing about cyber threats.

The three-year agreement builds upon Dragos’ relationship with the Singapore government, having signed a similar agreement in August 2023 with the Cybersecurity Agency of Singapore to focus on strengthening the country’s operational technology (OT) cybersecurity capabilities.

“This MOU with Dragos speaks to our close partnership, and we look forward to working closely in the year ahead,” said BG Edward Chen (top left), Defence Cyber Chief of DIS.

According to Kurt Gaudette (top right), Senior Vice President of Intelligence and Services at Dragos, Singapore’s proactive approach to cybersecurity is truly impressive and serves as an example for other nations to follow to ensure safety for their critical infrastructure and their citizens.

“Together, the DIS and Dragos are committed to empowering Singapore with the necessary tools and knowledge to navigate the evolving cyber threat landscape,” he said.

The partnership represents a significant step in international cybersecurity cooperation. By combining Dragos’ expertise in OT environments with Singapore’s advanced digital defense strategies, it aims to address the evolving and increasingly complex threats in the digital domain.
