Yubico has established its third global headquarters in Singapore as part of its expansion and talent development in Asia Pacific (APAC).
The new office will sit alongside existing global headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden and Santa Clara, USA, and is positioned as a strategic centre of excellence for supply chain, operations, sales, and administrative functions serving a growing international user base.
The move underlines its long-term commitment to APAC and its ambition to help customers deploy its YubiKey hardware security keys at scale amid a rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape.
“The expansion of Yubico opening its third headquarters is more than just a new office; the company is committed to supporting the enterprises and public sector leaders who are defining the future of digital trust,” said Jerrod Chong, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Yubico.
From Singapore, Yubico plans to work closely with customers in government, financial services, technology, telecommunications, manufacturing, and other critical infrastructure sectors to strengthen regional cybersecurity resilience. Its offerings include hardware-backed authentication through YubiKeys and subscription-based YubiKey as a Service.
YubiKey acts as a root of trust to authorise AI delegations with human confirmation, enabling enterprises of all sizes to tap AI securely.
“With rising AI adoption and strong growth potential in the region’s digital economy, Yubico’s expansion is timely. We look forward to partnering the company to develop our local talent and strengthen the digital security of enterprises and users in the region,” said Soo Haw Yun, Vice President of Global Enterprises at Singapore Economic Development Board.
Singapore will also serve as a base for investing in local cybersecurity talent, with Yubico planning to deepen partnerships and regional engagement as demand grows for phishing-resistant authentication.
