NTT Data and Booz Allen Hamilton have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to boost cybersecurity capabilities in Singapore and the wider Indo-Pacific region.
The partnership aims to address both current and emerging industry challenges, focusing on areas such as threat intelligence, zero trust and advanced automated threat protection and prevention technologies.
It will leverage the combined research and innovation strengths of both companies, with a particular emphasis on integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into cybersecurity and malware engineering.
Senior researchers from NTT Data and Booz Allen Hamilton will work closely to develop innovative solutions, prioritising advanced threat detection and knowledge-sharing initiatives. These efforts are designed to accelerate learning, enhance expertise, and extend the reach of cybersecurity solutions across the region.
According to the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore, only about 70 percent of local organisations have adopted recommended cybersecurity measures.
The partnership intends to bridge this gap by pooling subject matter experts, critical resources and cutting-edge technology to develop tailored services and solutions for the Singapore market.
“As the digital landscape evolves, robust solutions and capabilities are essential for a successful cybersecurity strategy. Together, we are well-positioned to advance our clients’ cybersecurity priorities, particularly in critical areas such as AI, malware engineering, and threat intelligence,” said Png Kim Meng, Chief Executive Officer of Singapore at NTT Data.
“Together with NTT Data, we strive to introduce, deliver, and support a range of advanced cybersecurity solutions from threat intelligence to zero trust. We look forward to contributing to increased security and resilience in Singapore and the broader Indo-Pacific region,” said Garrettson Blight, Vice President of Booz Allen Hamilton.
