Pure Storage has enhanced its enterprise data cloud platform with new levels of data mobility and control for enterprises navigating the demands of modern AI and hybrid cloud environments.
The latest upgrades unify core data management, extend public cloud coverage and streamline storage operations, enabling enterprises to accelerate their AI initiatives with unprecedented agility and resilience.
“In today’s AI era, access to data is everything. Success depends on having your data secure everywhere, and easily accessible anywhere, with a unified and consistent experience – in real time, at scale, across any workload,” said Rob Lee (top), Chief Technology Officer of Pure Storage.
Seamless integration
The expanded Pure Storage Platform now offers seamless integration between on-premises and public cloud environments, allowing data to move effortlessly where it’s needed most.
The launch of Pure Storage Cloud Azure Native, the first fully managed Azure-native service for Azure VMware Solution, eliminates migration barriers for storage-intensive workloads to provide enterprise-grade resiliency and efficiency directly through the Azure portal. It simplifies data transitions and empower enterprises to leverage next-generation cloud innovations in AI and analytics.
An intelligent control plane of the platform provides a unified control layer that automates how data is provisioned, protected and governed across an entire data estate.
The integration of Portworx with Pure Fusion extends fleet management capabilities to containerised cloud-native applications and KubeVirt-based VMs, consolidating modern and traditional workloads on a single, scalable platform.
With new conversational interfaces and expanded management functions, the upgraded Pure1 AI Copilot lets IT teams monitor and interact with file services and Kubernetes clusters at scale via natural language queries.
AI-focused performance
Pure Storage has introduced innovations designed to improve efficiency while maintaining performance. The upcoming integration of Pure’s Key Value Accelerator with NVIDIA Dynamo will enable faster AI inference in multi-GPU environments for lower infrastructure costs and reduced energy consumption.
“Efficient AI inference requires rapid data access so that AI agents can provide accurate responses in fractions of a second. Integrating Pure Storage’s Key Value Accelerator with NVIDIA Dynamo will deliver an out-of-the-box path to faster and more scalable inference — removing complexity, reducing latency — so that enterprises can maximise the utilisation of their NVIDIA AI infrastructure,” said Dion Harris, Senior Director of HPC, Cloud and AI Infrastructure at NVIDIA.
