Robotec.ai, AMD and Liquid AI demonstrate agentic autonomous robotics breakthrough

Robotec.ai, AMD and Liquid AI have collaborated to demonstrate the first fully autonomous warehouse robot powered by AMD Ryzen AI processors at ROSCon 2025.

The robot employs advanced Agentic AI capabilities enabled by Liquid AI’s next-generation LFM2 vision language models, integrating perception, reasoning and natural language understanding. With these capabilities, it can interpret human commands, detect safety hazards such as spills or blocked exits, and autonomously execute corrective actions in real time without hard-coded scripts.

The solution relies on extensive hardware-in-the-loop simulation that run on a ROS 2 stack. With AI inference on AMD hardware to create a virtual environment indistinguishable from the physical world, it can accelerate rapid prototyping and reduce the risks and costs of physical testing.

The platform includes a human-in-the-loop interface accessible via an industrial tablet to provide real-time monitoring of robot plans, live maps and anomaly reports to aid supervisors in overseeing operations.
