Wonder how your Facebook friends are creating AI videos from photos? Or needing to create a menu with detailed recipe and step-by-step guide to each dish? The magic behind these is Meta AI, which works as a standalone app and is embedded in Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp.
Visitors to the first regional Meta AI Experience event held in Singapore last weekend learnt the possibilities with Meta AI.
The event showcased the future of AI with interactive exhibits and hands-on demos, attracting technology enthusiasts and the general public to explore AI creativity and connectivity.

Titled Meta AI: The Place of Impossible Things, it took place on the weekend of November 22 to 23, 2025, at Alma House in New Bahru, Singapore.
It was Meta’s first-ever public AI showcase in the region, aimed at making AI technology accessible and inspiring for a broad audience.
The showcase comprised four themed interactive zones, each highlighting how Meta AI integrates across its suite of platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, and the Meta AI app.

Attendees had the chance to:
- Generate and edit images instantly using AI-powered creative tools.
- Craft short-form AI videos.
- Explore personalised AI-powered recommendations tailored to individual preferences.
- Experience AI-enabled messaging features such as chat summaries and group chat assistance.

Among the slew of possibilities, perhaps the most interesting was the second generation of Ray-Ban Meta Glasses, which is packed with features such as hands-free photo and video capture, open-ear audio, live streaming, and real-time translation.
While it is available for sale online, now is not the right time to buy it for use in Singapore as the device is geo-locked.
The Meta AI Experience has delivered an engaging, hands-on experience to leave visitors excited about how AI is shaping the future.
