HPE expands AI-native networking portfolio

HPE has launched an expanded AI-native networking portfolio that brings self-driving operations, unified AIOps and new high-performance hardware to power next-generation AI workloads across data centre, edge and hybrid cloud environments.

The AI-native networking portfolio is built on HPE Aruba Networking and HPE Juniper Networking to automate operations and optimise performance for AI workloads. This marks a major integration milestone following the close of HPE’s acquisition of Juniper Networks five months ago.

New AIOps capabilities and shared hardware deliver a consistent, self-driving experience across HPE Aruba Networking Central and HPE Juniper Networking Mist.

Key updates include bringing Juniper’s Mist Large Experience Model into Aruba Central that extends Aruba’s Agentic Mesh technology into Mist, and adds Wi-Fi 7 access points that are manageable from both platforms.

To support performance-hungry AI infrastructure, HPE has introduced the HPE Juniper Networking QFX5250 switch, an Ultra Ethernet Transport-ready platform using Broadcom Tomahawk 6 silicon to deliver 102.4 Tbps of bandwidth for GPU-intensive data centres.

Also unveiled is the compact HPE Juniper Networking MX301 multiservice edge router, designed to push AI inferencing closer to where data is generated with 1.6 Tbps throughput and 400G connectivity.

HPE is enhancing OpsRamp and GreenLake to act as a hybrid command centre that unifies telemetry and observability across compute, storage, networking and cloud. Integrations with Juniper’s Apstra software, new Compute Ops Management features, Model Context Protocol support, and fresh GreenLake Intelligence agents give IT teams full-stack insight and guided AI-driven remediation.

“By delivering autonomous, high-performing networks, HPE is poised to disrupt the networking industry with future-ready solutions that redefine user experiences and provide robust, secure connectivity across all environments,” said Rami Rahim, Executive Vice President, President and General Manager of Networking at HPE.

To lower barriers to modernising networks, HPE Financial Services is offering zero-percent financing for AIOps software such as HPE Juniper Networking Mist on term licences. Additional leasing provides the equivalent of 10 percent cash savings for AI-capable networking gear, plus optional multi-vendor tech refresh services with revenue sharing on resale.
