Tencent has launched its Hunyuan 3D creation engine to empower creators with cutting-edge AI tools for generating high-quality 3D assets.
Hunyuan 3D enables instant 3D model creation from multimodal inputs such as text descriptions, images and sketches, cutting production time from weeks to minutes and simplifying traditional workflows.
The engine supports professional-grade model editing, seamless integration with software like Unity and Unreal Engine, and outputs in mainstream 3D formats such as OBJ and GLB.
Hunyuan 3D Model API is available globally for enterprises to integrate these 3D capabilities into their applications, benefiting industries such as game development, e-commerce, film effects, advertising, social media, and 3D printing.
Since its open-source debut in November 2024, Hunyuan 3D has garnered more than three million downloads worldwide. Over 150 enterprises in China, including Unity China and Bambu Lab, have integrated the technology through Tencent Cloud.
Users receive daily free generation credits, with consumer users getting 20 and enterprise users 200 to enhance accessibility to a wide range of creative projects.
