NVIDIA’s new GPU is out. But it’s not the long-awaited next gen Ampere-based card. Instead, the GeForce MX450 is a new addition to the laptop line-up.
According to a NVIDIA media alert, “with newly added (in the MX segment) support for PCI Express 4.0 and GDDR6 graphics memory, GeForce MX 450 delivers even faster performance than our previous MX350 for faster photo editing, video editing, and gaming”.
The MX series works seamlessly with NVIDIA Optimus technology to balance between long battery life and performance.
Ultraportable laptops sporting the GeForce MX450 are expected to be available from October 2020.
