Oculus Quest 2 ships on October 13

The long-awaited Oculus Quest 2 is out. And with it’s availability on Amazon, it is ready for pre-order and will ship out from October 13 to practically everywhere in the Asia-Pacific region.

Lighter, better resolution and comes in white, the new all-in-one VR headset comes in two models — 64GB for US$299 and 256GB for US$399.

Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Platform processor with AI capabilities and 6GB of memory, it delivers more immersive experiences with newly redesigned controllers for better ergonomics and longer battery life.

The new display features 1832 x 1920 pixels per eye, offering 50 percent more pixels than the original Quest so everything looks better.

Quest 2 comes with new Touch controllers that are comfortable to hold and intuitive to translate gestures into hand presence in virtual environments.
