HPE to cut 5,000 jobs

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) plans to shed 10 percent of  its workforce, accounting for at least 5,000 workers globally, according to a Bloomberg report.

Expected to start before the year end, the move is in line with reducing expenses in the midst of global competition.

 

HPE Chief Executive Officer Meg Whitman has been pushing to delayer the organisation in a bid to become more efficient.
