Today marks the end of Windows 7. Microsoft is stopping support and updates for this highly-popular operating system.
Launched in 2009, Windows 7 is still reportedly widely used despite the launch of newer versions — the latest is Windows 10. Depending on sources, between 20 and 38 percent of PCs are still running on version 7.
The end of support means that users no longer get bug fixes, leaving their PCs vulnerable to attacks. Users should seriously consider upgrading to a newer version of Windows to safeguard their systems.
