Group scan and facial recognition with new D-Link kit

Temperature screening among the new measures in this COVID-19 period. The process can often slow down people movement and create unnecessary crowding due to bunching.

D-Link has introduced the DCS-9500T Group Temperature Screening Camera Kit that can simultaneously scan up to 30 people within 30 milliseconds, reducing queues in public areas such as office buildings, factories, schools, and shopping malls.

Beyond temperature screening, the kit also sports dual-lens technology that delivers high-quality footage, 17 viewing modes and intelligent facial recognition for accurate, rapid identification. It can spot those with elevated body temperature and raise an alarm. Body temperature can be measured to an accuracy of +/-0.3 degree Celsius with a sensitivity of 40mK.

accurate temperature monitoring important

“As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect everyone globally, accurate temperature monitoring has become more important than ever,” said John Lee, Chairman of D-Link.

Available from D-Link resellers and distributors, the DCS-9500T comes with free management software that allows for remote management, device configuration, and data analysis across multiple sites.
