Proofpoint has appointed Alex Lei as its Regional Leader for Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ).
Based in Singapore, Lei is responsible for leading the overall APJ business, driving customer acquisition and developing the regional partner ecosystem.
He joins Proofpoint from Dell EMC, where he was Vice President of Data Protection Solutions. His previous senior regional leadership positions were with FireEye and Symantec.
Lei brings more than 20 years’ experience from the IT and cybersecurity industries, with a track record of driving channel-first sales organisations and aligning go-to-market strategies to customer needs in fast-moving environments.
