China’s telcos advise investors on impending NYSE delisting

It looks like one of former US President Donald Trump’s final orders against China’s technology companies is coming to pass. China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom have issued warnings to investors about being delisted by the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).

The three China carriers, which are also listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, updated their Hong Kong investors that their appeals against being delisted from NYSE have been fruitless.

“Since its listing in 2000, the Company has complied strictly with the laws and regulations, market rules as well as regulatory requirements of its listing venues, and has been operating in accordance with laws and regulations. The Company will continue to pay close attention to the development of related matters and also seek professional advice and reserve all rights to protect the legitimate interests of the
Company,” said China Unicom in a statement.

China Mobile and China Telecom issued similar statements.
