Singapore-based telco MyRepublic has promoted Yap Yong Teck from Group Managing Director to President.
In his new role, Yap is directly responsible for driving growth, operational efficiency and synergies across the company’s service businesses in Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.
He was formely General Manager of M1 (Singapore) where he was responsible for the consumer market in terms of revenue and customer acquisition, managing products and services including mobile and fixed broadband, fixed lines, mobile network virtual operators and internet TV.
Backed by more than three decades of experience in the infocommunication industry, Yap is well-endowed with expertise ranging from product and marketing (consumer and enterprise segments) as well as mobility, to project management, tender specification, system and IT planning, and software development.
