NVIDIA’s new campus in Taipei is set to become one of the company’s largest AI R&D hubs in Asia Pacific.
Named NVIDIA Constellation, the facility will span nearly four hectares and accommodate about 4,000 employees.
It is modelled after NVIDIA’s Santa Clara headquarters and expected to be operational in 2030, with construction starting end 2026.
Speaking to a packed audience of employees, local officials and family members, NVIDIA Founder and CEO Jensen Huang (top left) framed the launch as part of NVIDIA’s expanding global footprint, following earlier developments reported around its growing presence in Taipei and closer collaboration with Taiwan’s semiconductor and manufacturing partners.
Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an (top right) attended the ceremony at the Beitou-Shilin Technology Park and presented Huang with a key to the city and a handwritten calligraphy scroll.
“The world is watching NVIDIA shape the future of AI,” said Chiang.
The project builds on NVIDIA’s ongoing investments in Taiwan which is critical to its supply chain and long-term AI ambitions.
