Zoom launches DTEN Me collaboration device

Following its phenomenal popularity, Zoom has created Zoom for Home, a new category to support people working remotely. The first product is the DTEN Me, a 27-inch an all-in-one personal collaboration device that comes with three built-in wide-angle cameras, an eight-microphone array and an ultra-responsive touch display for interactive screen sharing.

Weighing around 6.6kg, DTEN Me is only available in the US for US$599 from August.

Set up is easy with or without a full Zoom licence. The built-in software syncs with the user’s calendar, status, meeting settings and phone for an integrated video-first unified communications experience.

It is part of the new range of Zoom for Home products that is compatible with all Zoom Rooms Appliances, including hardware solutions from Neat and Poly.

“After experiencing remote work ourselves for the past several months, it was clear that we needed to innovate a new category dedicated to remote workers,” said Eric S. Yuan, CEO of Zoom.
