Tencent Cloud and Voicemod have launched a real-time voice-changing chat solution that lets gamers customise their own voices, transforming them into unique game characters.
An SDK set can change voices in real-time and customise the voice of any character. The solution supports cross-platform applications on PC, mobile and web, covering the demands of gamers across consoles and devices.
Game developers can now take advantage 90 preset sound templates, empower users to build their own voice avatars with customisable voices, and provide dozens of sound emojis (top) to make player interactions more entertaining.
With high-definition sound quality and ultra-low latency, gamers can enjoy real-time voice chat. A voice enhancer filter with pitch control lets them enhance their online communication.
“The quality of immersion in gaming has become more and more important among players, especially with the advent of the virtual world, where they can be anyone they can be,” said Poshu Yeung, Senior Vice President of Tencent Cloud International.
He added that the newly launched real-time voice-changing chat solution has made it even more immersive for gamers and helps them become a truly integral part of the fantastic worlds and scenarios they are in.
“This new solution allows game developers to provide their players with more interactions, entertainment, and communication, as well as security and privacy, as it reduces the risk of personal and real voice leakage,” said Jaime Bosch, CEO and Co-Founder of Voicemod, a real-time audio augmentation developer.
