Blaize–Winmate alliance showcases advanced edge AI solutions at Computex

Blaize and Winmate have teamed up to showcase integrated rugged edge AI solutions at Computex in Taipei.

This is the first fruit following the collaboration announcement in May to integrate Blaize’s energy-efficient AI chips into Winmate’s rugged systems for defense and critical infrastructure applications.

It involves the pairing of Blaize’s programmable graph streaming processor with Winmate’s industrial‑grade platforms. The integration is designed for environments where cloud connectivity is unreliable and latency constraints are unforgiving.

For Asia Pacific, where manufacturing, logistics, maritime operations and public‑sector field deployments are expanding rapidly, this represents a meaningful shift where rugged AI inference can now be executed on‑site, at low power, and in compact form factors suitable for vehicles, factories, ports, and aerial robotics.

“Edge AI is moving out of the data centre and into the real world, where latency, reliability, and power efficiency decide what is possible. Our chips were built to run AI inside the most demanding rugged systems, and that is exactly what we are putting in front of customers and partners in Taipei,” said Dinakar Munagala, CEO of Blaize.

“We evaluate AI technology against the hardest requirements our customers face, and Blaize’s technology has demonstrated promising characteristics for selected rugged edge AI use cases under evaluation by Winmate,” said Ken Lu, Chairman and CEO of Winmate.
