STT GDC, Alibaba Cloud and TTAB team up on AI adoption

ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) Alibaba Cloud and Tech Talent Assembly (TTAB) have teamed up to accelerate enterprise and workforce adoption of generative and agentic AI in Singapore.

Announced at Qwen Conference 2026 and witnessed by Senior Minister of State and NTUC Deputy Secretary-General Desmond Tan, the initiative aims to support up to 1,000 enterprises, developers and students with access to advanced AI tools, training and implementation support.

The collaboration seeks to bridge the gap between growing interest in AI and real-world deployment, as businesses across sectors look to improve productivity and competitiveness.

Scheduled to kick off in June 2026, the programme combines enterprise-grade tools, including Alibaba Cloud’s Qwen and Wan models, with agentic AI solutions such as Qoder and QoderWork, alongside hands-on workshops and guided implementation.

Participants will also have access to STT GDC’s online AI infrastructure readiness assessment tool for organisations to benchmark their capabilities and identify priority areas for adoption.

The initiative is targeted at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which often face resource constraints in adopting AI. By combining tools, training and practical guidance, the partners aim to enable SMEs and mid-career workers to integrate AI into business functions such as operations, software development and customer engagement.
