The COVID-19 pandemic, perhaps more than any other event in human history, has pushed people towards digital. Singtel has rolled out a three-month 5G trial for its consumer and enterprise customers. The service will run on its 5G non-standalone network and harness 3.5GHz frequency from Singtel’s newly expanded spectrum holdings as well as existing 2100MHz spectrum.

While most of the Asia-Pacific region were winding down their Sunday, other parts of the rest of the world experienced a seven-hour global internet outage.
